Stanley N. Hall, February 21, 1920 - July 2, 2011

Stan Hall passed away at the age of 91 in Bellevue, WA.  He had lived there for the last 49 years.  He was born in Brackenridge, PA, to Wilson and Fay Hall.  He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Mary Louise Carlson Hall, in 2010 and 2 sisters, Jean Harkleroad and Crete Hammersla.  He is survived by his 3 children, Steve (Johnie) Hall of Bellevue, Patrice (Mark) Eronemo of Redmond, and Susan (Alan) McRobert of Woodinville; 5 grandchildren, Joseph and Elizabeth Hall, Ryan, Alex and Michael McRobert, his brother Bud (June) Hall of Natrona Heights, PA, and many dear relatives and friends.

Stan attended Chesborough Seminary in N. Chili, NY, before transferring to Seattle Pacific College, playing basketball, singing in the acapella choir, graduating in 1945 with a Major in Math and Minors in Physics and PE. He later received a Masters Degree from Seattle University.  He also served in the US Navy during WWII.  Stan met Mary at SPC and they were married in 1945.  They moved to SD where he taught Physics, Math, and coached basketball at Wessington Springs College.  Missing Seattle, they moved back, where Stan taught first at Bothell HS, Bellevue HS, and then 29 years at Sammamish HS, where he also coached wrestling.

Stan was an avid outdoorsman and athlete; he loved to hike, camp, fish, jog, and swim.  He cherished his wife and devoted his life to her, their children and grandchildren.  Stan was known for his honorable life, his kind nature, and his devotion to Christ.  He is missed.

There will be a memorial service at Westminter Chapel in the Christian Life Center, 13646 NE 24th St., Bellevue, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM, reception following.
