Carol passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, in Puyallup, WA.  She was born in Port Angeles, WA on August 13, 1945, and lived in Oregon, Colorado and New York before returning to Bellevue and attending Sammamish.  She attended WA State University for a short time before starting her 36-year career at Highline Medical Center in Burien.  After retiring and returning from a trip to Europe, she became a volunteer for CASA,  an agency that advocates for foster children in court.  Carol was passionate about her children, grandchildren and family.  She is survived by her son Marc Hallen (wife Sally) and daughter Amy Littleton, niece Jessica McCourt, granddaughters Kayla, Kelsey and Kamryn Littleton, and grandson Brady Hallen.  She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Jim McCourt.  Memories of Carol can be shared at www.sunsethillsfuneralhome.com as well as a complete obituary.
